INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (See FT - Attached documents): Protective varnish for wood and mineral substrates in wine cellars.
Preparation of substrates: The substrate must be clean, sound and dry, free of any non-adherent materials that could harm the hold of the coating. (Wood humidity less than 10% indoors). Use in well-ventilated areas. The substrate and its preparation must comply with DTU 59.1 standard NFP 7420 1 and 2. Mix well before use. Single component. Application temperature: T °C min of the support 12 °C - T °C max of the support 30 °C. The final appearance obtained is directly linked to the quality of the preparation of the bases. Use only on European woods.
New wood: The parquet to be varnished must be "blank" in the direction of the wood fibers; use an increasingly fine abrasive 120/180. A period of 2 weeks is essential between the installation of the parquet and its sanding. Dust carefully with a vacuum cleaner.
Old wood: On painted, varnished, stained or waxed surfaces, sand the bare wood. Use a parquet sander In the corners of the room, sand by hand with: a sanding block, a triangular or delta sander, or a vibrating sander, equipped with each pass of abrasives of the same weight as for the center of the room.
Application: Apply with a roller (short bristles), brush or spalter for the edges. After the first coat has dried, sand with fine 120/180 sandpaper and apply a second coat after dusting. Proceed in the same way for a third coat. Dust carefully. Sanding between coats is recommended if successive applications are made after 36 hours of drying.
Application equipment: Brush, roller, spalter, spray gun (dilution up to 5%: water).
Cleaning equipment: water.
Drying at 20 °C: Dust-free: 2 hours. Dry: 4 hours. Hard: 24 hours. Full hardening 8 days before contact with liquid products.
Very easy maintenance: Clean as soon as stains or other dirt appear
Yield: up to 10 m²/kg
