PROTECTION AND DECORATION OF BARREL HOOPS

IDENTIFICATION: Water based Hoop paint for cooperage

Paint coating intended for the protection and decoration of the barrels hoops. Single-coat anti-corrosion paint based on urethane-modified alkyd resins in aqueous dispersion. The absence of olfactory contaminants allows application in cellars.

Preparation of substrates: the substrate must be clean, sound and dry, free of any non-adherent material which could harm the performance of the coating. Careful degreasing. The support and its preparation will comply with DTU 59.1 standard NFP 7420 1 and 2.

Application conditions: Minimum temperature of the support 7°C and greater than 3°C above the dew point to avoid any condensation. Maximum support temperature 35°C. Minimum product temperature 10°C. Maximum humidity 80%.

Application: Mix well before use. Single component, DEPRO® CERCLAGE WB VITI is easily applied in 1 coat in most cases.

Application equipment: Brush, roller, airless gun, pneumatic.

Cleaning of tools: Water 

Drying at 20°C and 65% RH: Dust free for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on air humidity. Dry to handle: 4 hours. Recoverable for 8 hours.

Easy maintenance: Proceed with cleaning as soon as stains or other dirt appear.
